What does #BIM mean to me?

With the main aim of GSD I have had a chance to review the work I have been carrying out. It is obvious to me as it is to many of my peers that the B in BIM is Building the activity and not the Noun. I is the information of which we can all agree on. M for me is management. We are in the business of Managing the Information in the Building process. But once again Project might be a better word to use. But at least it allows me now to say BIM Model without killing a kitten!

About Shaun Farrell

I have been involved in the construction sector since 1986 and over the years I have seen things change dramatically. Much of the change has been directly as a result of technology. This blog will be about the key combinations of People, Process and Technology. Any views expressed here are strictly my own.
