LOD by James Van

A very interesting and well written blog post about levels of DEVELOPMENT as opposed to levels of DETAIL.

I particularly like the aspect of LOD does not equate to work stage but referring to the reliability of a piece of information, very much something I am keen to impress upon my work colleagues. In a workflow, what purpose is a piece of information fit for?

I have been involved in the construction sector since 1986 and over the years I have seen things change dramatically. Much of the change has been directly as a result of technology.
