The New Makers

From from early days in school I always enjoyed “Graphical Communication” and “Design and Technology” both of which I managed to get A’s in at O level. (For those of us old enough to remember those). I always found that my design “skill”, such as it was, was even greatly reduced by my ability to physically make the object of my minds eye. With the leaps made in rapid prototyping and computer aided manufacturing (CAM) my hopes of returning to those days are once again growing. Still in its earlist stages the following certainly paint an interesting picture of the future.
